What Others Say About Patrick Van Minsel – Recognising a legacy of strategic leadership, municipal expertise, and dedicated professional advisory.
Joe Creron
Previous CAO of District of Peachland
I have known Patrick Van Minsel for five years—first as a Peachland Councillor and then as Mayor. He is a visionary leader who builds win-win relationships, listens to the community, and makes tough decisions when needed.
Patrick combines strong financial and business skills with a deep commitment to affordability. He led strategic and downtown planning that focused on affordable housing, economic development, a stronger commercial climate, and manageable tax increases.
I saw this leadership firsthand when Patrick and Council secured more than $12 million for a new child care centre, opening in 2027. He also advanced a practical plan to connect remaining septic properties to sewer and worked with provincial partners to pursue future grants.
Patrick’s passion for Peachland is just as strong. His personal birthday events raised thousands of dollars to provide computers for Peachland Elementary students.
Patrick is a visionary business leader, entrepreneur, and community builder who turns ideas into results.
